Patriots linebacker Jerod Mayo walked through the Patriots' locker room on Thursday wearing a brace on his right knee and walking with crutches.
Mayo sprained the MCL in his right knee in the first quarter against Buffalo on Monday night and could miss up to eight weeks with the injury, The Boston Globe reported on Wednesday.
Bill Belichick said on Tuesday that he doesn't think Mayo's injury is season-ending, but the Patriots have yet to elaborate on the details of the injury, saying only that he has a knee injury and has not practiced.
