Richard Seymour's antics aren't earning him any friends in Oakland. And if he keeps this up, he'll be paying for it severely.
According to ESPN.com, Seymour was given a five-day letter by the Raiders stating that he must show up to team headquarters in five days or else he will face suspension. Should the Pro Bowl defensive end fail to report within the five-day period, Seymour could lose a season's earning of $3.685 million.
Oakland head coach Tom Cable reported that he has spoken with Seymour and claims that the former Pats captain wants to play for his Raiders squad despite failing to join his new team in the more than four days since being traded.
