In a very good sign for the Patriots' defense, Jerod Mayo was at practice on Wednesday, the Boston Herald reports. The 23-year-old linebacker was wearing a knee brace on his right leg.
Two notable absences were running back Fred Taylor and wide receiver Randy Moss, though Moss was reportedly seen "bopping back and forth to the weight room" and didn't appear to be in pain. His absence was listed on the injury report as "not injury related."
Taylor, on the other hand, was last seen on the sidelines being tended to by team trainers on Sunday. He was listed as out with an ankle injury.
Tom Brady was listed as having full participation with a sore shoulder, as usual, while the rest of the report included the following players:
Limited participation
Wes Welker, knee
Vince Wilfork, ankle
Nick Kaczur, ankle
James Sanders, shoulder
Shawn Springs, knee
