Chris Drury isn't the only one feeling the effects of the hit that left the Rangers captain with a concussion on Saturday night. The Flames' Curtis Glencross has been suspended three games by the NHL for the shoulder-to-head hit on Drury, TSN reports.
Glencross' vicious check knocked Drury out of the game on Saturday, and Drury's status for the next Rangers game is uncertain. The hit occurred less than one minute into the first period and forced Drury to miss the remainder of the game in Calgary.
Glencross had a disciplinary hearing with the NHL on Monday regarding the hit that blindsided Drury. He is eligible to return to action on Nov. 17 against Colorado.
