Free Agent Defensive End Jarvis Green to Visit Teams Monday

Defensive end Jarvis Green will be breaking out a shopping list for the first time in his NFL career, but which NFL team will be going Green in 2010?

The eight-year veteran, who became a free agent this offseason, is planning to meet with multiple teams on Monday, according to The Boston Globe. The Green camp hasn't released any of the teams it will be in contact with, but did mention that the Patriots are on that list.

"Jarvis is in a unique position," Green's agent Albert Elias told the Globe. "He is probably the only one on the market today that does the things that he does. He's the best pass rusher in a 3-4 on the inside out there on the market. So we weren't worried about teams jumping out there and signing other players like Jarvis, because we don't believe there are other players out there in free agency like him."

Green started 12 of the 13 games he played in last season for the Pats and picked up 36 total tackles to go with one sack. In eight seasons in New England, the 2002 fourth-round selection has 232 tackles and 28 sacks in 121 career games.
