Lakers Forward Ron Artest Pays Homage to Dennis Rodman By Sporting Awful Hair Let's get one thing straight: It's Artest not artist.

And on Sunday night, Ron Artest reminded the NBA world to never make such a mistake, as the forward paid homage to one of the NBA's original clowns, Dennis Rodman.

Quote of the day

"K-Rod [Francisco Rodriguez] is a clown. I don't think there is any place for it in the game. You respect that other team."

One Kazakh reader is having trouble handling the truth regarding his beloved country, as NESN.com writer Mike Hurley pointed out in a recent Olympic hockey piece: "Team USA [in 2006] went 1-4-1, with its only win coming against Kazakhstan, a country only known for its fictional TV stars, not its hockey players."

To which the reader responded:

"Nabokov of San Jose Sharks was born and raised in Kazakhstan, he also played for its Junior team, Antropov is from Kazakhstan too. Yet another example of American ignorance, I guess its herpes (1/5 Americans has one) or your severe obesity that clogs O2 pathways to your brain. See you in London where every Kazakh boxer will send American one home…."
