Megan Fox Doing Her Very Best to Bring Whalers Back to Hartford Hartford has been nearing record-highs in temperatures lately but the capital of the Nutmeg State never looked hotter than when actress Megan Fox broke out a Hartford Whalers T-shirt.

Arguably the greatest logo (and most catchy team jam) in the history of man, the Whalers are reportedly looking to break back into the NHL, 13 years after the squad flew south in 1997. Heck, A few more images like these and they’ll be screaming “Brass Bonanza” from here to the top of Mount Fuji.

If former owner Howard Baldwin wants to prove to the league that local fans are itching to bring back the Whale (as if southern New England isn’t still obsessed with the club), then he needs to send Fox a few more of these T’s.

Or tank tops. Or bikinis. Or lingerie.

Quote of the day

“Marc Savard has come in here, and the three years that he’s been here, our franchise has gotten better. He’s got that skill set that not many players have. I understand that that’s the business of the media, but I really don’t want to add anything to fuel any fires.”
–Cam Neely, referring to Marc Savard and the recent rumors surrounding his future in Boston
