Report: No. 2 Pick Ndamukong Suh Signs With Lions

The Detroit Lions took the next step in their rebuilding process Tuesday when they signed first-round draft pick Ndamukong Suh to a five-year contract.

According to multiple reports, the deal is worth a guaranteed $40 million.

Suh was the No. 2 overall pick in the NFL Draft behind quarterback Sam Bradford who was drafted by the Rams. Suh was regarded by many as the best defensive player in the draft and there were plenty of analysts who thought that Suh should have been the first-overall pick.

Suh was one of the last first rounders to sign a contract leaving Seattle's Russel Okung and Buffalo's C.J. Spiller as the only unsigned first round selections.
