Bruins Training Camp Begins, Five Rookies Released From Roster

The wait is over. Bruins training camp began Friday with with fitness testing and physicals for the 57 players on the club’s roster.

The players have been separated into two groups for practices on Saturday and Sunday at the TD Garden. The practice sessions, at 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. on both days, are free and open to the public.

Group A will be practicing at 10 a.m. on Saturday and 12:30 p.m. on Sunday. Group B will be on the ice for the other two sessions.

The Bruins also announced that rookies Matt Delahey, Alain Goulet, Joe Pleckaitis, Yannick Riendeau and Walker Wintoneak have been released from rookie camp and will not participate in the team’s full training camp.
