Tyler Seguin Scores First Goal as Bruin in Preseason Home Opener

Sure, it's only the preseason, but in the second period of the Bruins' preseason home opener on Saturday night, Tyler Seguin reminded B's fans that the future — perhaps the very near future — is bright.

Seguin took a pass from Bruins captain Zdeno Chara and promptly deposited it over the right shoulder of Florida Panthers goalie Scott Clemmensen. The playmaking Seguin showed off his shooting abilities picking the top-right corner of the net.

Mark Recchi, who the Bruins are hoping can prove to be a mentor for Seguin, picked up the other assist on the goal which was scored 1:20 into the second period giving the Bruins a 1-0 lead.
