Report: Knicks Pick Up Options on Danilo Gallinari, Toney Douglas, Anthony Randolph

The New York Knicks may not have landed LeBron James or Carmelo Anthony this offseason, but they have still managed to make their future look a little promising for the first time in a long time.

The team took a further step in that direction on Sunday, exercising options on Danilo Gallinari, Toney Douglas and Anthony Randolph, according to ESPN.com.

The sharp shooting Galinari has averaged 12.8 points per game thus far in his NBA career, but has showed significant upside and is one of the league's better three-point shooters.

Douglas will serve mainly as Raymond Felton's backup at point guard for the Knicks, but he has been a serviceable player in his time in Madison Square Garden.

Randolph came over to New York in the David Lee trade, and the raw talent has shown flashes of dominance in his two years in the league.

The Knicks begin their regular season on Wednesday in Toronto.
