The Tom Brady–Peyton Manning debate is about a decade old, and in 2010, each player has done well to strengthen his case.
Brady has 17 touchdowns, four interceptions, 2,176 yards and nearly a 99.8 QB rating while leading his somewhat surprising team to a league-best 7-2 start this season. Manning's stat line is nearly identical — 16 touchdowns, four interceptions, 94 QB rating and 2,663 yards — while leading an injury-plagued Colts team to a start nearly as good as the Patriots'.
Manning has the edge in career stats while Brady, of course, has three rings to Manning's one.
They'll face off on Sunday — not that the outcome will remotely settle the argument.
