With a league-best 14-2 record, the Patriots are guaranteed one home playoff game, with the potential for a second if New England is victorious in the divisional round on Sunday, Jan. 16.
That's a pretty good bet, given that the team has won 11 of its 12 home postseason games in the Robert Kraft era.
While a small number of tickets will go on private sale this week for Patriots season-ticket holders and wait-list members, public sales will begin on Friday, Jan. 7 at noon on Ticketmaster.com.
Fans can purchase a maximum of six tickets, and Visa cards will be the only acceptable means of payment.
Tickets will not be sold at the Gillette Stadium ticket office.
