11. Houston Texans
2010 Record: 6-10
Needs: Cornerback, safety, outside linebacker, defensive tackle
The Pick: Nebraska cornerback Prince Amukamara
Previous Pick: Miami cornerback Brandon Harris
Analysis: The best-case scenario for the Texans would be if Patrick Peterson fell to No. 11. And when that happens, Houston can acquire Darrelle Revis from the Jets for a seventh-round draft pick. Realistically, Amukamara is the guy the Texans will be praying to land.
12. Minnesota Vikings
2010 Record: 6-10
Needs: Quarterback, defensive end, defensive tackle, left tackle, safety
The Pick: Illinois defensive lineman Corey Liuget
Previous Picks: Alabama defensive lineman Marcell Dareus, Auburn quarterback Cam Newton
Analysis: Liuget (pronounced "Legit") was our initial selection for the Vikings, who can use him across the line, depending on what happens with the Williams Wall and Ray Edwards.
13. Detroit Lions
2010 Record: 6-10
Needs: Cornerback, left tackle, inside linebacker, outside linebacker, defensive end
The Pick: Boston College tackle Anthony Castonzo
Previous Pick: Colorado tackle Nate Solder
Analysis: If there's a tackle with a first-round grade on the board, the Lions should take him without flinching.
14. St. Louis Rams
2010 Record: 7-9
Needs: Wide receiver, right guard, outside linebacker, defensive tackle, safety
The Pick: Alabama wide receiver Julio Jones
Analysis: It seemed like Jones was one of the most high-profile recruits ever in 2008, and he's got the potential to form a historic combination with quarterback Sam Bradford.
15. Miami Dolphins
2010 Record: 7-9
Needs: Running back, quarterback, safety, wide receiver, tight end, offensive linemen
The Pick: USC tackle Tyron Smith
Previous Pick: Florida interior lineman Mike Pouncey
Analysis: Jake Long might be the best left tackle in the league, and Smith could help the Dolphins bookend a line that needs some work.
16. Jacksonville Jaguars
2010 Record: 8-8
Needs: Quarterback, defensive end, inside linebacker, safety, cornerback
The Pick: Missouri defensive end Aldon Smith
Previous Picks: Iowa defensive end Adrian Clayborn, Alabama defensive lineman Marcell Dareus
Analysis: The Jaguars won't be able to pull off the robbery with Dareus, but Smith can be a grenade launcher for the Jags' defensive line.
17. New England Patriots
2010 Record: 14-2
Needs: Defensive end, outside linebacker, tackle, guard, running back, wide receiver
The Pick: California defensive lineman Cameron Jordan
Analysis: Jordan and outside linebacker Akeem Ayers would be perfect fits for the Patriots, and at this point, they'd have their shot at both.
18. San Diego Chargers
2010 Record: 9-7
Needs: Defensive end, wide receiver, right tackle
The Pick: Ohio State defensive end Cameron Heyward
Analysis: No change here for Heyward, who would be a pass-rushing menace for the Chargers.
19. New York Giants
2010 Record: 10-6
Needs: Tackle, outside linebacker, defensive end, safety, running back
The Pick: UCLA outside linebacker Akeem Ayers
Previous Picks: Boston College tackle Anthony Castonzo, Illinois defensive lineman Corey Liuget
Analysis: The Giants know how to get production out of their front seven, and Ayers would be a tremendous fit in New York.
20. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
2010 Record: 10-6
Needs: Defensive end, inside linebacker, outside linebacker, guard, tackle
The Pick: Wisconsin defensive end J.J. Watt
Previous Pick: Missouri defensive end Aldon Smith
Analysis: Watt fell out of the first round last week, but with a ton of changes in this mock draft, he finds himself in the top 20.
21. Kansas City Chiefs
2010 Record: 10-6
Needs: Tackle, outside linebacker, defensive tackle, wide receiver, center
The Pick: Wisconsin tackle Gabe Carimi
Previous Pick: UCLA outside linebacker Akeem Ayers
Analysis: Ayers would be a dream fit for the Chiefs, but with him out of the mix in this mock, it would be wise for Kansas City to make some upgrades on its offensive line.
22. Indianapolis Colts
2010 Record: 10-6
Needs: Tackle, guard, defensive tackle, safety
The Pick: Mississippi State tackle Derek Sherrod
Previous Picks: USC tackle Tyron Smith, Wisconsin tackle Gabe Carimi
Analysis: Not really sure at this point if Mike Pouncey fits the Colts' style, so they'll filter down to the fifth-ranked tackle on the board, who is Sherrod for now.
