On Wednesday, the second baseman told NESN's Peter Gammons that he matured during his time away from the field in 2010.
"I learned a lot," Pedroia said. "I felt like I matured a lot more by watching the game and I figured out — even during my rehab process — that I can't go 1,000 miles an hour like I normally do. So I have to harness energy in certain areas and I think it's made me better player, and it's definitely made me a better person for it."
But what else is on Pedey's mind? Why don't you ask him for yourself?
