Tom Brady Named AP Offensive Player of the Year

It's certainly not the trophy he ultimately wanted, but Patriots quarterback Tom Brady added a new piece of hardware to his trophy collection on Tuesday night.

Brady was named the AP Offensive Player of the Year for what was his best offensive season since his record-breaking 2007 season.

The veteran signal caller was the model of precision during the 2010 season. He racked up 36 touchdown passes while only throwing four interceptions, highlighted by a streak in which he set an NFL record by going 340 passing attempts without throwing an interception.

Brady becomes only the sixth multiple-time winner of the award after earning the honor for his 2007 season.

Eagles quarterback Michael Vick finished second in the voting ahead of Texans running back Arian Foster.
