Tomas Kaberle Most Wanted Player Among Top 10 Bruins Trade Targets

The Bruins made their first foray into the trade market on Tuesday by acquiring center Chris Kelly from Ottawa, but general manager Peter Chiarelli made it clear he didn’t intend for that deal to be his final move before the Feb. 28 trade deadline.

“I’ve been pretty public in saying I’d like to get a defenseman,” Chiarelli said after announcing the Kelly deal. “So that’s still in the works.”

Even with Kelly in the fold, Chiarelli hasn’t ended his search for help up front either, even if his priority remains augmenting his blue line.

“I’d like to get a goal-scorer too,” Chiarelli said. “I’m more actively looking for a defenseman.”

Chiarelli went on to say that there were nine defensemen across the league he was looking at in possible deals. Here’s a look at some of those potential future Bruins blueliners, along with a few forwards who could fulfill the club’s desire for more goals in the top 10 Bruins’ potential trade targets.
