Cities such as Detroit, Boston and Philadelphia are beaming with anticipation after impressive offseason additions. However, in just about every corner of both the American and National Leagues, there are a handful of players that enter the summer with some pressure to perform — or at least avoid under-performing.
Whether it’s on the hill, in the pen or on deck, there are about a dozen players that can either make or break their respective teams’ chances of a shot at the World Series trophy. If not a shot at the title, than at least a shot to stay relevant.
