NFL Gives Jerry Jones ‘Special Permission’ To Attend Tony Romo and Candice Crawford’s Memorial Day Weekend Wedding

The NFL lockout won't affect those who are getting knotted up.

Despite the NFL's ongoing labor dispute, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said Wednesday he received "special permission" to attend quarterback Tony Romo's wedding Saturday in Dallas, according to ESPN.

"More than anything, [I got the] right ticket from him and his fiancee — Romo's wife to be," Jones told ESPN. "[It's] one of prettiest invitations I've ever seen.

"So, yes, I will be there, and [I'm] proud for him. He's got the best end of this deal."

Team personnel and players are permitted to see one another during the lockout by chance in social gatherings and pre-approved charity events, but Jones wanted to make sure the two sides weren't breaking any rules, which could result in tampering.

Romo is getting married to former television reporter Candice Crawford.
