CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. — If Tom Brady orchestrates it, his Patriots teammates will come.
Brady organized a large-scale workout at Boston College's Alumni Field on Wednesday, and 40-50 players were in attendance, according to The Boston Globe. Prior to this, the largest known attendance for any Patriots lockout workout was about 15 players.
It appeared that every starter was in attendance, according to the Globe, including Wes Welker, Deion Branch, Jerod Mayo, Devin McCourty, Rob Gronkowski, Patrick Chung and BenJarvus Green-Ellis. Ty Warren, Mike Wright and Aaron Hernandez were also in attendance, which was notable because they are all recovering from injuries. Rookies Nate Solder, Ras-I Dowling, Shane Vereen and Ryan Mallett were also in the crowd, according to the report.
