Harris, the Eagles' starting running back, is the leading active rusher in the Atlantic Coast Conference. The 5-foot-10, 207-pound senior is closing in on BC's career rushing mark owned by Derrick Knight.
While mostly everything else in the Eagles' program has been in flux the last few years, Harris has been a constant. He rushed for 900 yards as a freshman and has gained more than 1,200 rushing yards in each of his two seasons as a starter.
"He's the linchpin," BC coach Frank Spaziani told The Boston Globe. "He's been a difference-maker since the day he came in and started playing in his freshman season."
Harris was named to the Doak Walker Award watch list earlier this month and is expected to be recovered from a torn meniscus that cost him the final two games of the 2010 season.
