Kickboxing Champion Wayne Parr Training 8-Year-Old Daughter, Allowing Her to Participate in Matches (Video)

How young is too young?

In America, a good number of children grow up loving baseball or football, dreaming of one day taking the field. They put in a considerable amount of time, but once Pee-Wee Football practice or Little League practice is over, it's back to the juice boxes and video games.

However, in Australia and England, some parents are being criticized for allowing their young daughters — some as young as five — to participate in kickboxing practice and tournaments.

Jasmine Parr, 8-year-old of world champion kickboxer Wayne Parr, has followed in her father's footsteps — literally.

Check out some of Parr's training in the video below from MSNBC.com, and decide for yourself if age 8 is too young to start kickboxing training.
