John Daly Shoots a 13 on Fourth Hole at John Deere Classic, Was Originally Marked Down for an 18

It took three attempts for the PGA Tour to correctly record John Daly's fourth-hole score on Friday at the John Deere Classic. But that was still 10 fewer tries than it took Daly to actually complete the par-4 hole.

Daly shot a 13 on the course's fourth hole — a far better mark than he was originally given credit for.

According to Yahoo Sports' golf blog Devil Ball, Daly was initially given a score of 18, allegedly because he told Todd Hamilton "put me down for 18" on his way to the next hole.

Daly's score was then changed to an 11 — once again, the incorrect number — before the PGA finally awarded him the right score. In total, the 45-year-old shot an 81 for the day.
