When David Ortiz stepped into the batter's box just after 1 a.m. on Oct. 18, 2004, baseball history would forever be changed with one swing of the bat. Big Papi drilled a two-run, walk-off home run over the right field wall to give the Red Sox a 6-4 victory over the Yankees in Game 4 of the 2004 ALCS — Boston's first of what would be eight consecutive victories through the ALCS and World Series en route to a title.
