Lance Briggs, NFL Players Could Face Fines For Wearing Cleats, Gloves Commemorating 9/11 (Photos)

There will be a lot of red, white and blue being waived at NFL stadiums across the country this weekend.

Unfortunately, those who represent our nation's colors on the field will likely be fined by the NFL for wearing gear that's not approved by the league. Reebok, which sent cleats and gloves adorned with stars and stripes to several NFL players, even informed the players that the league has not approved the gear for game use.

According to Bears linebacker Lance Briggs, who recently received a pair of gloves and cleats, it will be one fine he'll be happy to pay, as seen in a few of his tweets on Thursday.
