Brad Marchand’s Holiday Wish List Includes Red Sox Championship, Lump of Coal for Tyler Seguin

Brad Marchand has a holiday wish list, and he might surprise you with some wishes he has for the Bruins.

Marchand has been doing a "diary" for ESPN.com all season long, and the latest edition included Marchand's holiday gift ideas for many of his friends and teammates.

"Holiday shopping is tough," he says. "I never know what to get anyone."

However, his lack of knowledge about what to get doesn't stop him from thinking up what to get his Bruins teammates for the holidays. Marchand goes on to suggest presents for just about everyone on the B's roster, from Adam McQuaid to Zdeno Chara.

"McQuaid should get the biggest present under the tree for being good," Marchand states. "He's always well-behaved and very good. He deserves a nice gift."

On the other hand, someone who hasn't been as well-behaved as McQuaid, apparently, is Marchand's linemate Tyler Seguin.

What do you think?  Leave a comment.

Marchand explains, "A lump of coal goes to Tyler for sure. There's no question about that. He's always misbehaving."

The pesky Bruins winger also wishes for a Red Sox championship to welcome new manager Bobby Valentine and hopes that the Celtics can raise another banner, too. And of course, he doesn't forget the fans.

"My wish for the fans is nice new Bruins shirts for everyone to say thank you for all the sellouts you've given us at home," Marchand says, acknowledging the 103 straight sellouts the B's have enjoyed at the TD Garden. "They also deserve a big hug and pat on the back. We appreciate it."

And with this great list of gift ideas, Marchand is giving fans something to appreciate right back.
