Celtics forward Jeff Green will not be the only NBA player to have his contract voided this offseason due to a heart condition.
Chuck Hayes, a free-agent big man who signed a four-year, $21.3 million deal with the Sacramento Kings on the first day of free agency, failed a physical exam, the Sacramento Bee reports. Hayes reportedly was found to have a heart abnormality while undergoing a stress test.
The Kings announced Monday in a news release that Hayes' contract has been voided and said the team would have no further comment.
