FOXBORO, Mass. — Patriots quarterback Tom Brady returned to practice Thursday after missing Wednesday's session for non-injury reasons. However, Brady was limited due to a left shoulder injury.
Brady landed hard on his shoulder during Saturday's victory against the Dolphins, yet there was no mention of any injury Wednesday on the Patriots' practice report, which meant the team had believed it wouldn't impact his availability for Sunday's regular-season finale against the Bills. Since the shoulder was added to Thursday's injury report, the level of confidence must have decreased.
Left guard Logan Mankins (knee) and right tackle Sebastian Vollmer (foot, back) were the only players missing from practice, which was held in sweats and shells.
The media was present for stretching and the start of positional drills, when Brady threw a handful of passes.
