Tyler Seguin. Sidney Crosby. Two young stars who both seem to have impossibly high ceilings and ooze potential.
Crosby has capitalized on much of his and is already firmly established as the league's premier player despite being only 24 years old. He missed a chunk of time battling post-concussion symptoms, but in his return to the ice, he's looked just as good as he ever has.
He's already tallied 12 points in just seven games this season, and some think he may continue that torrid pace. Seguin, on the other hand, has been steadily stuffing the scoresheet all season long.
The Bruins' 19-year-old forward 12-12-24 point totals heading into Monday's showdown between the conference's No. 1 and No. 2 teams.
Crosby has paved the way for young superstars in today's NHL and should remain on the scene for years to come. Seguin is another up-and-comer who may one day challenge Sid the Kid for on-ice supremacy.
While this season may present an opportunity for a spirited race to see who can record more points, these two young stars could very well battle for the Art Ross Trophy for years and years to come. Eventually, which young forward will end up on top?
Who will finish his career with more points?
