Only 24 fortunate players get to participate in the NBA All-Star Game, and with the 10 starters for this year's game in Orlando likely set, the battle for reserve spots is likely to get testy.

A few players seem certain to get an invitation even without winning the fan vote. Expect an insurrection if Russell Westbrook, Kevin Love or Marc Gasol spend All-Star weekend at home.

More than a few quality players will take the weekend off or watch the events on TV, just like the rest of us. Call them the first 10 out — the 10 players who probably won't be named All-Stars, but are playing like All-Stars this season.
