David ‘Junior’ Hoilett is looking to leave Blackburn Rovers with Liverpool FC a possible destination. Click Lancashire reports Hoilett rejected a new contract offer from Rovers, and could leave the club in January for a fee.
“It is understood that Hoilett has rejected an offer from Rovers and is holding out for a big club move, snubbing interest from Bolton Wanderers,” the report reads. “But with Liverpool and Tottenham both in the frame, Hoilett is believed to be biding his time to secure a lucrative move.”
It is believed Blackburn has placed a price tag of around £8 million ($12.3 million) on the 21-year-old winger. But it might be possible for a club to sign Hoilett for less than that amount.
The Canadian is in his third season with Blackburn, and turned in a number of impressive performances in the first half of the current campaign. He operates primarily on the left side of the attack, but is useful on the right and in the center as well.
