Tim Thomas Becomes First Goalie in NHL History to Win Four Straight All-Star Games

Tim Thomas just loves winning.

The Bruins netminder was once again the winning goaltender at the NHL All-Star Game on Sunday, marking the fourth straight All-Star Game in which that's been the case. He's the first goalie to accomplish that feat.

Thomas, who has won all four All-Star Games that he's appeared in, stood tall as Team Chara pulled off a 12-9 victory over Team Alfredsson at this year's event in Ottawa.

Thomas' impressive streak of All-Star Game wins began in 2008, when he made his first appearance in the event. The East defeated the West, 8-7, in that matchup. He also emerged victorious in 2009 and 2011 before winning this year — there was no All-Star Game in 2010 because of the Winter Olympics that year.

The Rangers' Marian Gaborik was named the MVP of Sunday's game.
