Tom Brady, Robert Kraft Address Patriots Fans at Gillette Stadium Super Bowl Send-Off Rally

Tom Brady was the last player to speak to an estimated 25,000 fans who turned out to Gillette Stadium on Sunday for the Patriots send-off rally.

The quarterback expressed disappointment that every fan in attendance at the rally could not accompany the Patriots to Super Bowl XLVI in Indianapolis.

“I wish we could take all of you to Indy with us,” Brady said, according to the team website.

Introduced by radio play-by-play announcer Gil Santos, Brady, head coach Bill Belichick, Wes Welker, Vince Wilfork, Jerod Mayo, Kevin Faulk and Deion Branch addressed the fans.

Faulk noted that he has been asked often this season why he came back after suffering a season-ending knee injury in 2010.

“This is why,” Faulk said, according to the website.

Patriots owner Robert Kraft and team president Jonathan Kraft also spoke, with Robert Kraft thanking fans for their support after the death of his wife, Myra Hiatt Kraft, and gave his condolences to anyone else who has lost a loved one.
