Report: Peyton Manning Cleared For Return to Football

With his brother, Eli, and nemesis Tom Brady set to face off in the biggest sporting event of the year, Peyton Manning just refuses to give up the spotlight.

With all of the drama surrounding the Colts organization — or what is left of the Colts organization — ESPN's Chris Mortensen and Adam Schefter reported that Manning has been cleared by two doctors for his return to football.

The report is just one of many that has been circling Manning and Colts owner Jim Irsay over the past few weeks, stirring a number of rumors that point to his inevitable departure from Indianapolis.

To add fuel to the fire, NBC Sports stated that Manning is set to have dinner with Arizona Cardinals stud receiver Larry Fitzgerald this week in Indy, where Fitzgerald will hope to sway the 35-year-old quarterback to finish his career in Arizona.

The Cardinals remain a viable option to land Manning next season. Other potential landing spots include the Miami Dolphins, the Washington Redskins and even the New York Jets.
