Application Deadline for Lindos Sueños, Dominican Baseball Program, Extended to March 10

The Red Sox are offering the chance to make every child's baseball dreams come true.

The Red Sox and JetBlue have come together once again this year to offer the opportunity of a lifetime to 10 deserving teenagers through the Lindos Sueños program.

Lindos Sueños, which in Spanish translates to "Beautiful Dreams", offers a special program to high school students between 15-18 years old, which incorporates the game of baseball with the philanthropic dedication to community service.

Founded in 2004, with a generous donation from a baseball-loving mother and philanthropist, Lindos Sueños has taken American teens to the Dominican Republic each year to not only play baseball alongside 10 Dominican teammates, but also to immerse themselves in a very new and unique culture.

Students selected for the program will spend each morning serving an in-need community alongside 10 teens from the Dominican Republic, and then spend each afternoon playing baseball at the Red Sox Dominican Academy.
