If ball security equals job security, then BenJarvus Green-Ellis could be on tap for a nice little pay day.
Green-Ellis, who was one of the Patriots to hit unrestricted free agency on Tuesday, is drawing interest from two unknown teams, according to Yahoo Sports' Jason Cole.
The Patriots reportedly want to retain the reliable running back, although it could come down to how much money he is able to garner elsewhere. Cole reports that Green-Ellis, who has never fumbled in his NFL career, could receive in the $3-4 million range.
Green-Ellis racked up 667 yards on the ground while scoring 11 touchdowns in 2011. In 2010, he eclipsed the 1,000-yard rushing mark while scoring 13 touchdowns.
