Boston-area soccer fans who are also interested in saving the environment are in luck. The New England Revolution has partnered with NuRide, a program encouraging greener automobile use, to offer Revolution-related rewards to its participants.
NuRide participants who reduce "drive-alone" car rides can save money and earn points that are redeemable for rewards at a number of local outlets. It is a free service for those looking to help reduce their carbon footprint.
After just one week of taking greener trips — that can be walking, biking, carpooling, using public transportation or telecommuting — participants can receive a $10 discount on a Category 2 ticket to a Revolution game.
For more information on NuRide or to sign up for free, visit nuride.com or commute.com/nuride.
