The NCAA tournament returns to Boston on Thursday night, as the East region hits the parquet for Sweet 16 action.
With no team seeded lower than sixth in the East region, it has potential to be the most exciting action of the weekend.
Things will tip off on Thursday night at 7:15 p.m. ET when the top-seeded Syracuse Orange take on No. 4 Wisconsin. Syracuse is one of the best teams in the tournament, and even without defensive standout Fab Melo, the Orange still represent one of the must-see programs in basketball. The Badgers know all about playing gritty defense, as they come in with one of the nation's best defensive units.
In the other regional semifinal, the upstart Cincinnati Bearcats take on the Ohio State Buckeyes. The Bearcats have had a weird year, a season that was tumultuous early on when Cincy had an on-court brawl with crosstown rival Xavier. They've turned it on down the stretch, though, and are hoping to prove their doubters wrong in Boston. Meanwhile, you've got an Ohio State team that is one of the most recognizable programs in the country. The Buckeyes also feature one of the nation's best players in Jared Sullinger, as fans will get a close-up look at a surefire lottery selection.
Which East regional team are you most excited to see play in Boston?
