The Vancouver Canucks are arguably the most hated team in hockey right now, almost serving as the NHL's answer to the NBA's Miami Heat.
That's why it should come as no surprise that the Los Angeles Kings were feeling pretty good about themselves following their 4-2 win over the Canucks in Game 1 of their first-round series on Wednesday night.
The Kings felt so good, in fact, that they used their Twitter page to send a very special message to the entire country of Canada, at least outside of Vancouver's province of British Columbia.
To everyone in Canada outside of BC, you're welcome.

Good stuff. Now, the Canucks also have one of the most passionate fan bases in the NHL, and that fanbase will even go to extreme levels to show that passion (see: Stanley Cup riots).
So they certainly won't going to let this slide. Here's a few responses to that original tweet.
@LAKings seriously, show some class. That's rude. If you win I will congratulate you. If you lose I will cheer my team but not mock you.

@LAKings Jerk move with that tweet. Apparently class is not valued in LA. Although maybe that's not news?

“@LAKings: To everyone in Canada outside of BC, you're welcome.” Classless tweet. @VanCanucks fans are all across Canada and even in the USA

What a joke…Stay classy LA. You'll be golfing by the end of the month "@LAKings: To everyone in Canada, you're welcome

Seriously? This is a professional hockey club? @LAKings To everyone in Canada outside of BC, you're welcome.

And on, and on, and on. The tweet also got some priceless reactions from fans of teams that aren't the Kings or Canucks, too. You can check out even more of them by clicking here.
