Kings Say ‘You’re Welcome’ to Canada After Game 1 Win Over Canucks, Vancouver Fans Freak Out

The Vancouver Canucks are arguably the most hated team in hockey right now, almost serving as the NHL's answer to the NBA's Miami Heat.

That's why it should come as no surprise that the Los Angeles Kings were feeling pretty good about themselves following their 4-2 win over the Canucks in Game 1 of their first-round series on Wednesday night.

The Kings felt so good, in fact, that they used their Twitter page to send a very special message to the entire country of Canada, at least outside of Vancouver's province of British Columbia. 

Good stuff. Now, the Canucks also have one of the most passionate fan bases in the NHL, and that fanbase will even go to extreme levels to show that passion (see: Stanley Cup riots). 

So they certainly won't going to let this slide. Here's a few responses to that original tweet.
