Nike NFL Uniform Unveiling Live Blog: ‘New’ Uniforms Unveiled for All 32 Teams

12:06 p.m.: That looks to be it for the unveiling. Be sure to check out the NESN.com photo gallery featuring all 32 of the new uniforms.

Patriots fans can click here for a better look at their team’s “new” uniforms.

11:59 a.m.: Nike checks in via Twitter with a showing of all 32 teams. As mentioned, not much changes in terms of look at least.

11:57 a.m.: The new Jets uniform, courtesy of Angel Navado (@NamedAngel), looks just like the old Jets uniform. You also can get a little bit of a look at the new Patriots duds modeled by Wes Welker in the background.

11:52 a.m.: And here we go. Here are all of the uniforms, this one thanks to Paul Lukas (@uniwatch).

What do you think?  Leave a comment.

11:48 a.m.: The Seahawks unis are being used as the model to introduce the new model and the changes that Nike has made. That’s why we’re “stuck” on the them for now. Sean Jensen of the Chicago Sun-Times (@seankjensen) has this picture of the actual uniform being worn by Kam Chancellor.

11:39 a.m.: And the Seahawks front from Paul Lukas (@uniwatch).

11:38 a.m.: Here’s another look at the Seahawks jersey with Matthew Weinberger checking in again.

11:36 a.m.: Based solely on tweets, it sure sounds like the biggest differences in the uniforms won’t necessarily be the way they look, rather the way they fit, feel, etc.

Nike is making it clear that they’re listening to their athletes and working to find ways to deliver a better product to those athletes.

Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz is on hand, and he also mentioned that the new unis will be tougher to grab. That’s bad news if you’re a defensive nut.

11:32 a.m.: Schefter strikes again.

Literally moments before the jerseys are to be unveiled, ESPN’s Adam Schefter tweeted this photo:

11:26 a.m.: Remember the tweet from Uni Watch about the Seahawks uniforms? Well, apparently there’s some disagreement on that. Here’s a tweet from Packers tight end Jermichael Finley.

“Seahawks has the best looking Jerseys. THEY ARE SICK!”

To each his own.

11:17 a.m.: While we wait, here’s a look at the Patriots’ new off-field gear, courtesy of Forbes contributor Matthew Weinberger.

11:13 a.m.: Nike is apparently being Nike right now. This from Brian Costello of the New York Post:

“I feel like I’m on some sort of Nike ride at Disney. We’re in a studio waiting for the unveiling.”

11:06 a.m.: And this is a good start. From Paul Lukas, a.k.a. UniWatch.

“They just showed a little video with a glimpse of the new Seahawks uni… It is SERIOUSLY ugly…”

11:05 a.m.: The official unveiling sounds like it’s just moments away.

10:52 a.m.: Here’s a photo from CNBC’s Darren Rovell who is, of course, at the event in New York. This is some of the fan gear.

10:27 a.m.: Michael Vick has checked in via Twitter to give his thoughts on the new Nike uniforms.

“The new NFL uniforms thru Nike are going to be crazy……Innovation at its finest!” he tweeted Monday night.

Of course, he’s a Nike guy, so there’s that.

10:18 a.m.: This day has to be like Christmas for Paul Lukas who runs the Uni Watch blog at ESPN.com.

He’s in New York, and he’s already tweeting pictures. Here’s one of the gloves from Nike which are essentially the same as the gloves the college game has been introduced to.

10:18 a.m. ET: Player representatives from each NFL team will be on hand in New York to model the new unis, and Wes Welker will be there to represent the Patriots.

The Boston Globe has the whole list which you can see by clicking here.

10 a.m. ET: In just about an hour, the NFL will have a different look — literally.

That’s because Nike and the NFL are set to unveil the league’s newest look, as the sports apparel superpower has rekindled its relationship with North America’s strongest sports league.

No one knows quite what to expect with the uniform launch. Some look at the drastic changes that Nike helped impart in the college game and think more of the same could be coming for the NFL. However, there are also early indications that there really won’t be many changes to the new uniforms.

Either way, football fans everywhere are excited to see what the new look of the NFL will be. The new duds will be unveiled at 11 a.m. in New York.
