Robert Griffin III Appears in Tasty Sandwich Glory as NFL Draft Approaches (Photo)
Before fans start salivating for some NFL draft action, they can get their taste buds warmed up by seeing the likely No. 2 pick as a life-sized sandwich.
Subway, which signed Baylor's Robert Griffin III to an endorsement deal last week, created a sandwich bust in Griffin's likeness. It was on display at a Manhattan shop on Tuesday.
Reactions were mixed, with some voicing indigestion over the sight of the football phenom displayed in bread and cold cuts. Others found the edible Griffin — with hair made of pepper, teeth of garlic and plenty of smokehouse barbecue chicken to go around — a novel approach.
