Karl Alzner and the Capitals suffered a tough loss on Wednesday night after falling to the New York Rangers in three — yes, three — overtimes. But the worst of it for Alzner may have been still to come, when he arrived home to find his apartment in ruin.
Alzner’s two dogs had apparently been unable to contain their excitement during the game and, left to their own devices for an overtime or so too long, had their way with the place. So, while Alzner was likely hoping to be able to relax after a long and stressful night, instead he probably had to do a little cleaning first.
Check out the carnage below from a picture Alzner tweeted early Thursday morning, saying, “Dogs not happy about the loss either.”
