SMU Women’s Rowing Team Challenges Harvard Baseball With ‘Call Me Maybe’ Video of Their Own

OK, this is getting a little out of control now.

Apparently the new craze sweeping the nation — or at least sweeping little-known Division I athletic programs — is to do a lip sync video of Carly Rae Jepsen‘s catchy “Call Me Maybe” tune.

In the case of the SMU women’s rowing team, it’s also all about “covering” the Harvard baseball team’s version of the lip sync.

The Lady Mustangs posted a YouTube video of them doing their best Harvard impersonation after the Crimson took the Internet by storm with their road trip video last week (the UConn women’s hoops team remains the gold standard for “Call Me Maybe” videos for those keeping score at home).

“Ball’s in your court, Harvard baseball,” read the description of the YouTube video.

So could that mean more is on the way? God help us.

See the SMU version below.

Do the Blackhawks know that Vince Vaughn is cheating on them?

“Mike made a great call, man … I just thought, in that situation, you should let the players decide the game. He felt that was an illegal pick, so that’s it was.”

Go ahead and try to watch this only once. You can’t do it. It’s impossible.
