Tampa Bay Fan Dick Vitale Taunts Nick Swisher on Twitter Before Rays-Yankees Game

All sorts of fans send all sorts of messages over Twitter to pro athletes. Very rarely are those fans of Dick Vitale's stature.

After Yankees outfielder Nick Swisher tweeted a message about starting the team's homestand off right with a win, Dickie V responded in an appropriate manner.

Vitale, a Rays fan, tweeted in all caps at Swisher, in effect shouting, "Let's GO RAYS BABY!"

Swisher didn't respond, but he didn't have to. With a mere 19 characters, Vitale struck a blow against the so-called "Yankees universe" on behalf of Rays fans everywhere.
