Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce and Ray Allen have spent five years playing together, but this time the Big Three may actually be done.
Pierce talked about retirement some this year, but recently he sounded likely to return. Allen fought through an ankle injury for much of the season and is slated to undergo surgery, but claims he still has "plenty of legs left.". But reports have surfaced saying Allen didn't get along too well with Rajon Rondo, and that Allen may leave the Celtics as a free agent for another championship contender.
The biggest uncertainty, though, is Garnett. The passionate center has made it clear that he loves playing in Boston and working with coach Doc Rivers, but he's a free agent this year, too. He could try to latch onto another team ready for a title run, perhaps with younger parts than the veteran Celtics. Or, he may hang it up after 17 seasons in the league. Garnett, 36, started his NBA career at 19 and has plenty of mileage on his legs.
Garnett could also be back for another try with the C's. The clock has started on decision time. Where do you think Garnett will end up?
