If Ray Allen were a baseball player, he'd be most like … Johnny Damon?
That's what Boston fans were saying Friday after the news broke that Allen was giving up a return to the Celtics (and more money) to play with the Miami Heat next year.
Damon's name immediately filled Twitter, where Boston fans quickly drew a comparison between Boston's World Series hero who defected to the Yankees and the latest traitorous villain, who signed with the newly crowned NBA champion Heat.
Does that mean Ray should be called Benedict Allen?
