Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello and Michelangelo usually roam the sewers in New York City, but they made an exception on Sunday afternoon.
The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles invaded Marlins Park on Sunday in Miami to watch the Fish take on the Mets and, of course, celebrate Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle day at the stadium.
However, they may have added a new member to a clique that already includes Splinter, April and Casey Jones. Before the Mets toppled the Marlins 5-1, Billy the Marlin — the team’s mascot — joined the four turtles and posed for pictures.
Billy the Marlin also taught Leonardo the Marlins’ celebratory salute, Lo Viste, where players spread two fingers around their eyes to show off after collecting a big hit or making a significant play.
Cowabunga, dude.
With my favorite four sea creatures, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!! I taught Leonardo the #LoViste! #tmntday twitter.com/BillytheMarlin…
