The NFL’s replacement refs have been the recipients of some serious verbal lashings. None of the outbursts likely compare to the one Steelers linebacker Larry Foote reportedly gave officials on Sunday.
Foote yelled, “You should go kill yourselves” at the officials as they entered the locker room following Sunday’s Steelers-Raiders game, according to CBS Pittsburgh’s Jory Rand.
It isn’t exactly known what sparked Foote’s rage, but Steelers defensive end Ziggy Hood was taken out at the knees by Oakland’s Willie Smith in the fourth quarter, which infuriated the Steelers.
Rand recounted the whole ordeal involving Foote on Twitter, even wondering whether Foote could eventualy hear from the league about the outburst.
Check out Rand’s tweets below.
Wonder if Larry Foote will be hearing from the NFL. Yelled at officials as they entered locker room: ”You should go kill yourselves.”

What do you think? Leave a comment.
Foote wasn’t in the locker room when we got in here so I couldn’t ask him about it. Likely heat of the moment but there’s always a line.

Several officials turned their heads to see who had said it. That’s why I think league may get involved. We’ll see.
