Report: Michael Turner Arrested, Charged With DUI Hours After Falcons Beat Broncos on Monday Night

Michael Turner
may have celebrated his team's Monday Night Football win a little too much before getting behind the wheel of his car.

The Atlanta-Journal Constitution reports that the Atlanta Falcons running back was arrested early Tuesday morning and is being charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and speeding.

According to the report, Turner was put in the Gwinnett County Jail just after 5 a.m. before being released two hours later on $2,179 bail.

The arrest came just hours after Turner and the Falcons beat the Denver Broncos 27-21 in front of a national TV audience. Turner ran for 42 yards on 17 carries. He also scored a two-yard rushing touchdown in the first quarter.
