Abby Wambach may not have a World Cup title, but that’s OK. She has something even better now.
One of the most decorated women’s soccer players in American history is the proud owner of a Chipotle gold card, which means she gets all the free burritos she wants. Granted, she’ll probably find that there’s only so many free burritos you can physically stand as a human being, the noted Chipotle fan is stoked.
Wambach tweeted the news over the weekend, and included this photo of a T-shirt proclaiming her love for burritos.
“So chipotle today told me I was getting a gold card that I get free burritos for life. Happiest day ever. #nojoke,” she tweeted.
This truly would be the happiest day ever. Can you even imagine free Chipotle burritos for life? Sure, it would knock your life expectancy down a few years, but at the same time, she is a professional athlete, so she’ll probably live forever anyway. So it all balances out.
However, Wambach tweeted later in the weekend to prove that it’s not all free burritos and gold medals in her life. She, too, faces the problems that the rest of us “normal folk” face.

“Pumped up like we’re going to play the game hard. It just kind of pumps you up when you see one of your guys go down.

Here’s one dog walking another dog, with a hat tip to Abby Wambach, of course.
